About
Shubha is a young and enthusiastic writer who has grown up in seven different states in India. Growing up she dressed in chaniya-choli to dance Garba all night in Jamnagar and did Giddha in Jalandhar. She devoured the flavors of Maachh-Bhaat in Kolkata and Pav-Bhaji in Nashik. She found peace on Assi Ghat in Varanasi and would frequently escape to Deoghar for a homely feeling.
Traveling and living in different places amongst different people and cultures, she is fond of the stories that surround her. She took up literature in her undergrad degree to explore more of these stories. Her school and college days further added to the experience. In 2020, she united her love for different cultures and places, with her passion for writing. Since then, she has helped magazines and small businesses curate quality content to help and inspire people.
Education
Shubha holds a master’s degree in English Literature and Language from Banaras Hindu University where she studied stories from all around the globe. From classics to folk and contemporary literature, she read a bit of all. A humanities background has equipped her with the ability to write with a strong voice and narrative flair.
Experience
Shubha has been in the travel and lifestyle space for the last two years. Her passion for travel and interest in lifestyle topics such as finding happiness in everyday life and curating budget-friendly trips has led her to share ideas on a wide variety of content, from destination guides, hotel reviews, and interviews with travel influencers to budgeting tips.
Shubha joined NetBlime in 2022 as a senior editor and writer in the travel and lifestyle space. Since then she’s been helping people find travel inspirations and ideas—and collecting the lived experiences of people from all around the world. Having worked with magazines and small businesses, she helps create reliable and purpose-driven content for NetBlime readers. She believes in writing for the people and her work comes from her desire to help her readers live their lives to the fullest.
Interests
Like a jigsaw puzzle, other parts of her interests include tech, research, and singing. If there is some new tech in the market, she will jump in to know and experience it. Her capability to research is a result of her thirst for knowledge combined with her ability to scan through a plethora of resources. In the evening, you can find her in her garden with a cup of tea and her guitar, facing the sunset, to sing a few melodies.
